Melissa Shelton
Melissa Shelton is a doyenne of the design industry, multidisciplinary creative, real estate investor, business strategist and founder of Dear Valentine. She is a board member of the Female Design Council and coaches female entrepreneurs in business development, brand management and strategic partnerships. Before founding Dear Valentine, Melissa led sales and marketing for global design brands Artek, Carl Hansen & Son, Design Within Reach, and Vitra. After more than a decade in the international design industry, Melissa left the corporate world to focus full time on Dear Valentine, a love letter to travel and design. She now spends her time creating memorable environments and experiences for DV clients and offers customized consulting and management services for owners and developers seeking to build their own unique hospitality brands.
